Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), abbreviated HAM(S), is an Indian political party with a presence in Bihar. In Bihar, this party is also a natural Allies of National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
It was launched formally on 8 May 2015 by former Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi.In July 2015, the Election Commission recognised HAM(S) as a political party. The election symbol of the party is a wok.
The party won four seats in the 2020 Bihar Legislative Assembly election and Shri Santosh Suman was made a minister in Nitish Kumar’s cabinet.
Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) [HAM(S)], Jharkhand is a regional political organization committed to promoting inclusive development, social justice, and the empowerment of marginalized communities across the state. Guided by the vision of "हमारा लक्ष्य – युवा शक्ति से विकसित झारखंड" (Our Goal – A Developed Jharkhand through Youth Power), the party emphasizes youth empowerment, quality education, employment opportunities, transparent governance, and equitable economic growth. HAM(S) aims to strengthen democratic values by encouraging public participation in governance while working toward a prosperous, self-reliant, and socially harmonious Jharkhand where every citizen has equal opportunities to contribute to the state's progress.
Dr. Santosh Kumar Suman (born 10 February 1975) is an Indian politician from Bihar. He currently serves as the Minister of minor water resources in the Government of Bihar.
Santosh Kumar Suman was Minister of Minor Irrigation and SC/ST Welfare in Government of Bihar from 16 Nov. 2020 to 9 August 2022.
